You want surfers? Check. You want coral reefs? Check. You want to see sea turtle central? Super Check! Excellent beach to do any of the above. Plenty of well kept facilities, areas for barbecuing, and showers. Only thing you can't really do is swim in the area. But great for lounging.

Hookipa is a place to visit anytime you want to feel like you are in Hawaii. The windsurfers, surfers, kite boarders, etc are almost always practicing their skills. If you are lucky you may be there during championships. The best in the world participate in these contests. You also find locals teaching these skills to their children. Turtles swim near shore and children play in the sand. This is the place to wear your best bikini.
